How to Drop Your Ballot:
Step #1 - get your ballot and ballot guide out
Step #2 - sit down with a nice beverage or tasty treat
Step #3 - mark the races you are sure of and be sure to look on both sides of the ballot
Step #4 - check with a trusted source (parent, friend, coworker, neighbor, newspaper, political club) when you aren’t sure
Step #5 - it’s better to leave some blanks than it is to not vote. Great is the enemy of good. Just get it done!
Step #6 - peel off your “I voted by mail sticker” and put the ballot in the return envelope provided
Step #7 - sign in the box with the yellow arrow on the back of the envelope
Step #8 - print your name and your voter registration home address in the spot below the yellow signature box
Step #9 - seal the ballot in the envelope
Step #10 - if someone else is dropping the ballot for you, print their name and have them sign on the flap their promise to drop it
Step #11 - put the envelope in your mailbox no later than Monday or in a postal box that will get picked up before 8pm on Election Day (no stamp needed), or put it in a drop box (see locations below) before 8pm on Election Day, or take to a vote center (see hours and locations below)
Step #12 - do a happy dance and feel good about doing your civic duty and share your awesomeness with friends
